Google Glass shows you nearby movies and showtimes.
Google Glass' monthly software update released yesterday brought new controls for video playback, new voice commands for navigation, better integration with Path and Evernote, and new types of updates from Google Now.
In the maps application, new contextual voice commands like "Show route overview," "Hide route overview," and "Stop directions" let the user control the route guidance without hands, Google said.
Additionally, users can now add voice commands from third-party apps to the main menu. "We've hooked up with Path and Evernote to offer two new voice actions from the Home screen," the release notes state. "You can now update your Path feed by saying 'OK Glass, post an update.' Similarly, sending a note to Evernote is as easy as saying 'OK Glass, take a note.' To see the new voice actions in your voice action menu, you'll need Path and Evernote Glassware turned on from the MyGlass Android app or website. This is just the beginning. More Glassware will support these and new voice actions over time."
Google has offered instructions to developers on how to insert voice commands into the "OK Glass" menu.
The software update also makes it easier to control videos. A tap on the Google Glass touchpad—it's on the side of the wearer's head—now plays or pauses a video, while a swipe can fast forward or rewind.
Other updates include the ability to check your timeline while on a video call and to use voice commands to add captions after taking pictures or videos.

These new cards join other useful Now updates, including:
Traffic—Get traffic conditions and alternate routes before you leave for work.Weather—Know how to dress before stepping out the door.Sports—See live scores for your favorite teams.

Google Glass has been available in limited quantities for developers and some others, but no specific general availability date has been announced.
